Good morning Chicago

Posted on September 30, 2011 by Andrew Smith

As the city wakes, we stand in the rain and the cold for what is right. We are here for many reasons, and for many goals, but are united as one. We are you, the disenfranchised, disillusioned citizens of this great country. We stand because you cannot. We speak because you are afraid. We hold our ground because it is right and it is true. We are occupychi, exemplarily citizens of this Great nation. We stand to remind the world of what it once knew: America is a nation of dreamers, of risk takers, and of compassion. We do not wait for change, but actively seek it. Good morning Chicago, welcome to a new day.
